Transition From Employee To Entrepreneur

Transition From Employee To Entrepreneur

If you are considering transitioning from employee to entrepreneur, here are a few tips to help you make a smooth transition…

  • Check your employment agreement to look for a noncompete or nondisclosure cause.
  • Set a schedule, goals (realistic expectations), budget and utilize your paycheck.
  • Test your idea to see if it something that people want, can afford and are willing to pay for.
  • Outsource the things that you either can’t do or don’t do well.
  • Expect the unexpected

I made the transition (among many others) is because I wanted to do work that was more aligned with my personal values and goals like financial autonomy. My husband was another reason I wanted to start a business. I wanted to show him that if I can do work that is fun, fulfilling and financially rewarding, that I could help him do the same. I wanted to lead by example. I followed my calling and now empower and help others do the same. That’s how I invested in myself.

Need business ideas? No problem! I’ve got you covered…

  1. Make a list of things that frustrate you then create a solution
  2. Make a list of things that could be done in a better way (chances are, you are not the only one feeling this way.). Then do it.
  3. Find people who say (I don’t like…, I hate…, I need help…, how do I…, I can’t find…I’m frustrated…I wish there was…). Then see if you can provide something that helps them.

Be observant of obvious frustrations and opportunities for improvement. I created my business because I became frustrated with people complaining about the financial struggle being real and them believing the ONLY way to earn a living is having to take crap from a micromanaging boss just for a paycheck. They need a solution and I was going to be the one to give it to them.

Here are some additional free resources:

There you have it. A great way to escape the rat race and become your own boss. I know it was a lot of information and I hope I didn’t lose you along the way. I just wanted to make sure you get as much value as you can since I’m not great at writing lots of blog posts every week.

You are probably feeling discouraged and thinking how you can achieve all of this. Well you are in luck, I have already created a FREE online course that will explain how you can create multiple streams of income using the ideas above and more. So no worries

The course is called the Learn Money to Earn Money Financial Literacy Training course. It provides a total of 12 income streams you can try. I created it for extra income seekers and the unemployed. Want to take the course? Great! Just join my tribe to get started creating multiple streams of income.

As for starting business, I’ve got you covered with my Bootstrap Bootcamp. It’s a mentorship program for aspiring entrepreneurs and freedom seekers just like you. It comes with a step-by-step system that will help you start a location-independent lifestyle business. Click the home page in the top menu to get started.

Remember, nothing will happen if you don’t TAKE ACTION!!! Got it? Like I said before, don’t just read this and go about your way doing nothing. Get to work on creating multiple streams of income and/or starting a business so that you can escape the rat race. Happy earning!
