Keep Your Full-Time Job and Start a Side Business

You may be thinking to yourself, “How can I start a business when my full time job takes up all of my time? Where am I going to get the money to start a business when all of my money goes to rent and bills? How can I start a business fast enough to quit my job?”

Guess what?

You’re not the only one feeling this way. Remember the 80% I spoke about in the first paragraph of this article? Yeah, you are not alone. You are probably wondering how others have quit their job by started a business. I’ve done is and so can you. But there is a specific way to do it.

The first thing you need to understand is that it is possible. The second thing is that you need someone who has done it before, to walk you through the process of doing it successfully. This is a mentor who helps you avoid the most common mistakes of starting a business.

According to an article written HERE by Founder and CEO of Trepoint, Bill Carmody, 90% of business fail within 10 years because they lack financial literacy. They don’t know how to manage their profits.

I don’t want you to fail. That’s why I am writing this article. I am going to help you, just as I have helped many others like you, invest in yourself. I am going to help you do work that is fun, fulfilling and financially rewarding by teaching you how to create multiple streams of job-free income and how to start a business. Here are 4 steps to get started.

Step 1: Validate your idea

Step 4: Get your first Customer

I know you have dreams and goals that make up your vision of the life that you want to live, but somewhere along the way, you have fallen short of the motivation it takes to get you there. Most of the challenges you struggle with day to day has got you feeling like you have to give up on your vision of the life that you want because you are not earning enough to make that vision come true. So your reality is forcing you to stray away from your vision. But I’m here to tell you that you don’t have to stray away from your vision. You don’t NEED a degree to earn money online and I don’t NEED one to help you do it.

You see? You can do and be anything you want. You want to be an artist? Create something. You want to be a writer? Write articles, short stories, poetry etc. You want to be a psychoanalyst? Study thousands of hours for it in libraries and online. That type of education is free and only requires free time. Same thing for a philosopher. Study the subject and learn as much as you can. But learn enough to solve problems for someone else. Bottom line, invest in yourself.

It is said that an expert is someone who has studies 10,000 hours of the subject. Once you have dedicated a few years to researching the topic of your choice and have learned some skills, establish yourself as an expert online by showcasing your knowledge and skills. Then monetize them. That’s when you offer services, products and information for a fee. That’s where your profit comes in. Ask yourself, who can you help, how can you help them and what can you help them with. Remember, focus on helping people rather than making a sale. That’s what makes you genuine in what you do and increases your chances of becoming financially successful.

Understand that this world was not created in one day. Everything takes time. There will be moments where you will begin to doubt yourself and even become a little discouraged. I encourage you to never give up. If you create something and it does not work the first time, tweak it as many times as you like before you decided to scrap it. Remember what I said, nothing happens if you don’t take action.
